René Rey Chocolates Ltd. is the first company in the world to manufacture Ice Wine Chocolates. Some manufacturers have tried to duplicate the name but were not able to make a real Ice Wine chocolate product. Our individually wrapped filled chocolates contain 66% Wine and Ice Wine content in the filling whereas other similar competing products contain only trace amounts of Wine and contain flavoring to achieve an Ice Wine taste. Our chocolates are semi-liquid, while other products are solid and without moisture.

We have spent several years on research and development in order to perfect the very technical process of manufacturing these very luxurious chocolates. Our greatest challenge was to prohibit the fermentation of the Wine as it remains active throughout the manufacturing process and also afterwards.
